More Artwork

My friend Holly (the same friend who was the subject of my "M" post), made art for my latest novel. I've been working on this book for over a year, and I'm preparing to write the sequel.  It has been one of the most difficult books I've ever written, but so rewarding.

These are my two main characters, Alphonse (who was the subject of my "A" post) and Mairwyn. I cannot begin to express how much I love this.  Holly is so talented.  She has such a way of bringing her drawings to life and capturing all of my words about the characters into an amazing picture.

  1. This is excellent, superb, amazing, beautiful, perfect... Oh my goodness! This is absolutely perfect for Alphonse and Mairwyn. You're absolutely right; your friend really does have a grasp on the characters' looks and personalities. I also really loved the Anathriel piece! I wonder if your friend will feel inclined to draw Xari, or something from the Lost Scribe and Binding Ties after they're released.

I'm also curious as to what Sephy might look like. Orion, too (though I haven't read that one). Your friend has an amazing talent. You must feel so honored to have these drawn for you. I'm so glad I got to see your books come alive this way!

It's amazing your friend drew Ananthriel, Alphonse, and Mairwyn exactly as I pictured them!

By the way, congrats on all the followers! You deserve each and every one.
